On the acute care areas you will be providing nursing services for those who struggle with behavioral and intermediate issues.  Helping them to look inward to identify behaviors and life patterns that are harmful and find new ways to function and relate would be one of your primary focuses.  Restoring a healthy, active life and reestablishing trust and dignity to those on this care unit will be your reward of utilizing your nursing skills here.
